Nancy founded Smarter Divorce Solutions in 2011 after going through her own less-than-optimal divorce. She has over 23 years of experience in both investment management and financial planning and in 2022 took the leap to leave her full service financial firm to focus 100% on divorcing couples and supporting them in the best way possible. In 2016, Nancy founded the Divorce Financial Planner Training Center to offer continuing education to CDFA® holders nationwide.

Nancy is a Master Analyst in Financial Forensics, (MAFF™), a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®), an Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA), an Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS), a Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC) and is trainined in both mediation and Collaborative Divorce. Nancy has served on the board of directors for the Collaborative Professionals of Phoenix, was the Finance Director for the National Association of Women Business Owners,2014 and 2015, the 2015 NAWBO Business Owner of the Year, the 2014 Finalist in the BBB Business Ethics Awards, was on the 2014 National Board of Advisors for the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts, and is a frequent volunteer for the Fresh Start Foundation for Women.

Nancy believes strongly in a kinder, gentler, more affordable divorce process to preserve the family and ensure financial confidence for all parties involved. She has published articles in Huffington Post, DivorcedMoms.com, was the featured advisor in Morningstar Magazine, is the author of Divorce Is Not For Dummies, How To Cover Your Assets and Divorce Financial Planning, Building a Succesful Niche Business. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, gardening, and spending time with her 4 children and five grandchildren.
Training Offered

Nancy has been training Divorce Financial Planners since 2014 and has helped dozens of CDFA holders to start, grow, and execute a niche practice successfully. Her intensive, advanced level programs are the only ones available for the field. In 2018 Nancy authored the textbook for our field, Divorce Financial Planning, Building a Successful Niche Business. She has been actively practicing as an adult educator since 2000.

Training Conducted

Courses through the Divorce Financial Planner Training Center, including a 2-day conference, a year long intensive (Velocity), and on demand webinars. Nancy has hundreds of hours of training content that is available to the Divorce Financial Planner Community. Her Velocity program alone is over 200 hours of content.
