Area(s) of Practice: Scott is a Manager in the Financial Advisory Services (FAS) practice with the national accounting firm BDO Canada LLP, based in BDO’s Barrie office. Scott is a Chartered Professional Accountant (2016) and a Registered Student with The Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators. Since joining BDO in 2013, Scott has gained diversified public practice experience in the financial advisory services, compliance, accounting and assurance, and taxation fields, and has experience in a variety of industries. Scott has worked with local family law lawyers and separating spouses since joining the FAS practice in 2017. Scott’s primary services include business valuations and income determinations for spousal and child support including those with a forensic component. Scott also provides assistance with the preparation of net family property statements, quantifying tax liabilities, and assisting with tax efficient settlement agreements.
